Born from Crisis. Built for Change.

The story of how a near-death experience sparked a healthcare revolution across Nigeria.

Our Story

The Moment Everything Changed

Some years ago, my life nearly ended because of something entirely preventable—a wrong injection administered in a moment of medical negligence. Lying in pain, hours away from proper medical care, I experienced firsthand what millions of Africans face every single day: the terrifying reality that quality healthcare is out of reach when you need it most.

I'm Etuken Idung, and that moment didn't just save my life—it gave me a purpose.

While recovering, I became consumed with a single question: Why should anyone have to suffer because healthcare is inaccessible?

That question led me down a path of research, discovery, and ultimately, action. I learned about holistic health, preventive medicine, and the power of technology to bridge impossible gaps. I realized that the solution wasn't just about building hospitals—it was about meeting people where they are.

"Healthcare shouldn't require a hospital trip. It should come to you."

From Supplements to Solutions

AirTook started in 2019 as a premium nutraceuticals company. We believed that wellness begins with what you put in your body. We served over 1,000 customers and saw real transformations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided free health screenings and palliatives to over 40,000 underserved Nigerians through NGO partnerships.

But we quickly realized something: People didn't just need supplements. They needed doctors. They needed diagnosis. They needed real healthcare.

Currency instability made our premium products unaffordable for many of the people who needed them most. That's when we pivoted—hard.

The Birth of AirTook TeleHealth

In 2024, we launched AirTook TeleHealth with a bold mission: make seeing a doctor as easy as making a phone call.

No more 6-hour hospital waits.
No more ₦15,000 consultation fees.
No more choosing between health and income.

Today, AirTook connects patients across Nigeria to licensed doctors via smartphone for just ₦2,500 per consultation. And we're just getting started.

🔬 Evidence-Based Care

Our doctors rely on medical science, not guesswork. Quality care is non-negotiable.

⚡ Continuous Innovation

Healthcare in Africa requires African solutions. We adapt, iterate, and improve constantly—inspired by the Japanese principle of Kaizen (continuous improvement).
